On Our Way

We didn't waste much time last night and as soon as I got out of class at 9:30pm we hit the road. Didn't want to go too nuts on the first bit of the drive so we just drove about 6 hours to Sheridan, Wyoming where we stayed last night.

Rather than paying for cheap hotels we decided to make the most of the Subaru SUV and just sleep in the car. It actually wasn't too bad with a few camping sleeping mats laid down and about 5 comforters and blankets stacked up.

Its nice to feel some warm, sunny weather even though there is still snow on the mountains. Its in the 60s right now which is better than the 20s and 30s it has been in Breckenridge the last few days.

There weren't any showers at the rest stop we slept at so we drive a few miles down the road to a KOA campground and paid $5 to shower and stuff.

It wasn't exactly the cleanest or nicest facility but it did the job I guess.

And now we're off again. Should hit the Canadian border today. Hopefully we make it through. Only 2,600 miles or so to go!
